Aozora Project

Wednesday, May 22    15:15 - 17:15

In this project, we will have fun activities (in English) with children who have various disabilities, including autism.

Meeting Time: 15:15

Meeting Place: Chiyoda Line Ayase Station (west exit)
*We will go to the site together. It takes 20 minutes by bus.
*You are responsible for your transportation.

Venue: NPO Aozora (1-4-17 Mutugi, Adachi-ku, Tokyo 121-0052)

Guidelines: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Basic conversational Japanese skills desirable.

Who we serve: Children with disabilities (not physical) such as; Autism, Down syndrome, ADD/ADHD, LD, Prader-Willi syndrome

Schedule:
15:15 Meeting at Chiyoda Line Ayase Station (west exit)
15:25 Bus ride
16:00 Start activity
17:15 Finish activity (Dismissal at the site)

What to wear/bring:
- Wear comfortable casual clothes that are easy to move around in. Make sure they are not too revealing.
- Please wear clothes that can be dirtied.
- Slippers to wear inside Aozora.
- Beverage (There is a convenience store nearby)

If you need to cancel your participation at this time, please cancel your participation through our website. (Sign in, go to “Calendar”, click on the date of the activity, and click “Cancel”.)

If you need to cancel within 24 hours of the project meeting time, the “Cancel” button will not appear on the website, so please call the Volunteer Leader.
