Bowling (Tokyo Port Bowl) 2

Sunday, June 2    09:30 - 12:00

In this project, you will bowl a few games with young adults with intellectual disabilities (not physical). The athletes are part of the Special Olympics Nippon Bowling Team. You will be placed in a team along with 4-5 athletes with mild disabilities. As a volunteer, we would like you to interact with the athletes while you bowl about 3 games. One way to interact is to help them understand/follow bowling rules. Another way is to talk to them during the game to increase their social and communication skills.
