Wakabaryo Children's Home

Partner: Airinkai, Social Welfare Service Corporation

In this project, you will work with children (3-18 years old) living at Wakabaryo Children's Home. The children will be divided into two groups - older and younger, and you may choose which age group you would like to join. In both groups, you will have an opportunity to play with the children and engage in various activities.

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Frequency: Once a month (usually 3rd Saturdays)

Location:  Meguro Wakabaryo

2-19-1 Ohashi, Meguro-ku

8-minute walk from Komaba Todaimae, West Exit (Inokashira Line)

10-minute walk from Ikejiri Ohashi Station (Denentoshi Line)

Event Guidelines: Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Volunteer Voice: One of the boys in junior high made a bracelet and ring for me out of beads. I thought I was the one who had to “give”, but I ended up being the one who “received”. It was a humbling experience.
