*All Participants will follow the requirements of each community partner’s. Please note that some require keeping a record of their body temperature beginning two weeks prior to the activity date. 

■Motor Development Program with Special Olympics Nippon Tokyo
The Special Olympics Motor Development Program (MDP) supports elementary children with intellectual disabilities (not physical) as they gradually improve their motor skills through dance, exercise and games. Volunteers are asked to work with Special Olympics coaches to help the athletes enjoy their activities.

■Visually Impaired Tennis
We'd love to have more volunteers for the "Visually Impaired Tennis" program. Volunteers are asked to help set up activities, ball feeding, pick up balls, and help the players to enjoy their tennis.

■Senior Support Project with Tango Therapy Association
In this project, you will work with residents at a senior care facility doing exercises to the rhythm of tango. The steps are easy for beginners. Please support the residents by putting your hands on their hands and shoulders to prevent them from falling.

■After School Cleaning Project with Special Needs Aiiku Gakuen
Volunteers will help with after-school cleaning at Aiiku Gakuen, a special needs school. We will vacuum the classrooms, remove crayon marks in the drawing room, clean the windows, and help hang the laundry.

■ Sign Language Cafe @Hands On Tokyo Office
Hands On Tokyo will organize a workshop, "Sign Language Cafe."  We would like to have more communication with hearing impaired persons. We hope this project helps provide an opportunity to learn and use Sign Language. In this program, we will learn useful phrases, greetings and how to sing a song in Sign Language.
