Global Volunteer Month

About Global Volunteer Month
Global Volunteer Month, held every April, is a campaign that celebrates volunteers around the world, and creates opportunities for more people to participate in volunteer activities. It is an initiative that supports everyone who gives back to our communities, and promotes how small actions can lead to big changes.
The power of each volunteer strengthens our communities, and makes the world a more connected place. Hands On Tokyo supports everyone's steps to create change through Global Volunteer Month.

Open Office Day
We held a Hands On Tokyo "Open Office Day" to showcase our activities and share how to get involved as a volunteer or volunteer leader.

As part of Global Volunteer Month, we hosted a special event
- Hands On Day - at Yoyogi Park
The day was filled with fun and meaningful programs such as a dance workshop, diversity recreation, Yoyogi park clean-up, Fun with English, and Play Fitness.
Around 50 people joined us, including volunteers and our community partners - such as children’s homes, groups supporting people with disabilities, and people from the Ukrainian community.
It was a day full of new experiences, smiles, and meaningful connections.
...and more avtivities for this event! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and always supports our mission!
